Like hotelstaff, Lokation,
the hotel staff were very friendly and helpful with advice. The rooms are clean.
The beds are hard which is fine if you have back problems, but a bit too uncomfortable for me. the room was large, but the bathroom was very tiny and the shower wimpy.
More than your money's worth. The room was very spacious, high-ceilinged, well insulated,no noise coming from other rooms, very simply but adequately furnished,.the bathroom very clean. The staff are nice and helpful, the coffee is absolutely the best in town. Very centrally located within 5 minutes walk of the Dome.
that we had only three days there.
staff was incredibly nice and the location was perfect!
location was great, staff very helpful, breakfast good
the beds were alittle uncomfortable
Staff were excellent - they helped with planning a visit in the city, reserved an excursion, made breakfast before the official time when needed and answered every possible request Location is just perfect - a barely 5 minute walk from Duomo and 10 minutes from the train station. The double room is spacious and very comfortable Really very much enjoyed my stay
Very friendly staff, excellent location just in the center of florence, good internet connection, clean rooms, close to very good resourants (ask advice on reception), was easy to find (however it is very small hotel on the second floor of the large old building), 10 mins walk to the place where you can rent bicycles
Breakfast could be a bit more kids friendly.
The location of the hotel was great. Sabina at the front desk was awesome. Very friendly and helpful.
Everything was fine. But the bathrooms are a little outdated. Mine was kind of dim and had a strange shower with no curtain or door. It was a handicapped accessible room so that could explain it.
The cleanest rooms and the best air conditioning in Europe! Great family atmoshphere with wonderful courtesy extended. Sabina was awesome! So knowledgeable and willing to lend a hand!
The Owners were very helpful and kind. Spoke good English and from what I could hear French also. Called taxis and arranged diner reservations for us on two occasions, most willing to call several places for us, that had been recommended in guide book to see if they were open. Mid - end of August, holiday for locals so some restaurants and shops away from the Duomo center were closed. Mid August - very hot - but aircondition in the room fantastic - room controlled so could turn it on and off at will. Also mini bar available in room so could store water. Room and bathroom facilities very clean, good shower, plenty of hot water. Breakfast very good and plenty - continental - but fresh fruit available , yoghourts, eggs, cereals, cheese and slices of ham. On main road so bus stop near by. Got bus 23 back from the south bank after visiting Piazza Michelangiolo for the view, in the evening. Close enough to stroll down to Duomo center and surrounding areas with evening street entertainment and to stroll back.
The hotel is in a good location and the staff very friendly.
Our room was very small for 4 people. The hotel is in the secon floor of an old building and the lift very small, so was hard work to get to the room with all lugage. The cleaning was poor and the bed not very confortable. In the next time I visit Florence I´d prefere to stay in another hotel.
This is a clean, well located hotel with very friendly English speaking staff. The room was large, air-conditioned, had free wi-fi and sky tv. The continential breakfast was good though not excellent. The furnishnigs are simple but good. It is more of budget, convenient location type hotel than a romantic stay but it met all of our requirements.
The hotel was very clean, spacious room with really working air conditionong. Central location and very friendly and proactive staff. Great quality at a very reasonable price.
While not posh, Hotel Colomba offers a fantastic city location. close to the train station and walking distance to most other popular sites. The staff is professional and very friendly. Breakfast was superb. Our room was a nice size and the Air Conditioner worked the best of all hotels we stayed at during our 2 week trip to Italy. I highly recommend Hotel Colomba.
The staff were exceptionally helpful and friendly. They were so accessible and knowledgable about the area that it was more like a bed & breakfast experience. The rooms were very clean and well laid out for travelers.
